Ursula Yvonne (Hann) DeGroft
Obituary
Ursula Yvonne DeGroft, 70, of Taneytown, passed on May 29, 2022. Born April 18, 1952, in Gettysburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late George and Helen Hann.
Ursula graduated from Francis Scott Key High School. She worked at the Cambridge Rubber Factory and the Maryland Sweetheart Cup; later she worked in the bakery at Kennie’s Market. She was a lifelong resident of Taneytown.
Surviving are daughter, Stacy Crunkilton and her boyfriend Tim Riley of Reisterstown; granddaughters, Brittany Shelton of Westminster, and Brandi Shelton of Taneytown; and sister-in-law Dottie Hann; she also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Steve Hann, sisters Roxanne Rock and Mary Ursula Bowers, and brother-in-law John Rock, Sr., and aunt, Catherine Gooding.
The family will receive friends from 2 – 4 p.m. on Friday, June 3, 2022, at MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME, P.A., 136 East Baltimore Street, Taneytown, Maryland 21787. Interment will be private.
