Terry Allen Cool

Terry Allen Cool, 63, of Westminster, MD, died on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster.  Born May 24, 1957 in Baltimore, he was the son of the late David Allen and Rita (Wetzel) Cool.  He was the husband of JoAnn (Spielman) Cool, his wife of 34 years.

Terry was a welder at Evapco for almost 30 years.  He enjoyed being outdoors, camping, canoeing, watching birds at the feeders, and spending time with friends and family, especially his grandkids.  He also enjoyed woodworking, going to the Eagles Club in Littlestown, and watching NASCAR racing.  He was a Kevin Harvick fan.

Surviving, in addition to his wife JoAnn, are daughters, April Wilson of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Crystal Aldridge and husband Adam of Westminster; siblings, Linda Weishaar of Emmitsburg, Cecelia “Sootie” Dillman and husband Dean of Thurmont, Gary Cool and wife Pam of Tucson, AZ, Jerry Cool of Emmitsburg, and Deb Hurley of Thurmont; grandchildren, Austin, Lexi and Dylan; and many nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by a brother, Ronnie Cool.

A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. on Monday, May 10, 2021 at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 136 E. Baltimore St., Taneytown, MD with Deacon Charles E. Barnhart, Jr. officiating.  The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until the time of the service.
