Freda Patricia (Nikodem) Sarni

          Freda Patricia Sarni, 97, of Greenbelt, Maryland died peacefully on Monday, November 23, 2020 at Carroll Hospice Dove House in Westminster, Maryland.

          Born on November 10, 1923 in Utica, New York, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Caroline (Zidel) Nikodem.  She was the wife of the late Alfred Sarni who predeceased her in 1986.

          Freda is survived by her children, Carol A. Kral of Pasadena, Joanne Menke of Virginia, David Sarni of Severn, and Gail Poudrier of Delaware; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

          A private graveside service for family will be held in Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton, MD, with Deacon Johnny Barnes officiating.  Due to the pandemic there will be no viewing or visitation.  A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at a later date.
