Jane A. (Cole) Pennell

          Jane A. Pennell, 88, of Westminster, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 14, 2018 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.  Born May 4, 1930 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Ethel (Parks) Cole.  She was the beloved wife of Melvin A. Pennell, to whom she was married for almost 65 years.

          Jane was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.  She was a legal secretary with Sam Aaron and Son Attorneys in Baltimore for several years.  She enjoyed reading, cleaning house and being with her family.  She was a fan of the former Baltimore Colts.

          In addition to her beloved husband Melvin, she is survived by daughters, Karen Flickinger and husband Blaine of Westminster, and Gail Pennell of Easton; grandchildren, Jason Dilley and wife Tammy of Littlestown, Ashley Head and husband Brian of Finksburg, and Tommy McCauley of Westminster; and great-grandchildren, Makayla and Brayden.

          Services are private.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home in Westminster.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to help defray final expenses may be made to Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 91 Willis St., Westminster, MD 21157.
