Jacob Elijah Wright, 34, of Westminster, Maryland, died on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at home.

          Born on May 27, 1983 in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of Toni (Robinson) Russell and the late David Wayne Wright.

          He was a carpenter and worked in home construction.  He played basketball and football and enjoyed fishing.  He was always trying to help others and enjoyed spending time with his daughter.

          He is survived in addition to his mother by a daughter, Sadie Kathleen Wright of Manchester; brother, Joseph David Wright; sister, Rachel Ann Click of Hanover; aunts, Selina Grimm and husband Gary of York, PA, Tina O’Hara and husband Jack of Westminster, and Patti Walsh of Westminster; uncle, Mark Spencer of Westminster; nieces and nephew, Andrea and Jason Click and Kylee Wright.

          A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at the MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME, 91 Willis Street, Westminster.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, January 8th from 6-8 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.  Burial will follow in Meadow Branch Cemetery in Westminster.

          Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help the family with final expenses.
