Betty J. (Strohman) Chadwick

          Betty J. Chadwick, 92, of Owings Mills, MD died peacefully on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at Atrium Village Assisted Living in Owings Mills.

          Born on July 12, 1925 in Lebanon, PA, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Kathryn (Witman) Strohman.  She was the wife of the late William Joseph Chadwick.

          Betty was a registered nurse and spent most of her career at Good Samaritan Hospital in Lebanon, PA.  She was an avid knitter, and enjoyed watching sports and playing golf.

          Surviving are son, William J. Chadwick and wife Irene Battalen of Westminster, MD; daughters, Barbara Haller and husband Nelson of Fallston, MD, Elizabeth Barr and husband William of Ontario, NY and Beverly Metcalf of Deltaville, VA; 9 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.

          A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at the MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME, 91 Willis Street, Westminster with funeral celebrant John C. Morrill officiating.  The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.  Private burial will be at a later date in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville, PA.
