Kenneth Lavere Becker, age 77, of Westminster, Maryland, died unexpectedly on Monday, June 20, 2016 at Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, PA.

Born November 21, 1938 in Hanover, PA, he was the son of the late Gerald P. and Mary H. (Rang) Becker.

He was currently employed by Shipley Energy since 2001 as a propane attendant. 

He was a man of great faith.    

He is survived by children, Kenneth Becker, Jr. of PA, Kevin Becker of PA, Kent L. Becker of Seattle, WA, Kurt Lee Becker of Hanover, PA, Keith Lynn Becker of WA, Rachel E. Becker of Taneytown, and Ruth N. Becker of Dundalk; 8 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchildren; and siblings, Phyllis Strausbaugh, Larry, Terry, George, and Linda Becker.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, June 27, 2016 at the MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME, 136 E. Baltimore St., Taneytown, MD with Pastor David Stonesifer officiating.  Interment will be private.  Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help defray final expenses.
